Our mission at South Park Fitness is to improve your life through health and fitness. No matter what you are doing in life, you will do it better with exercise and sound nutrition. South Park Fitness is a fully equipped gym with cardio equipment, weight machines, free weights, core equipment, and a heavy bag for kick-boxing and Muay Thai. We have a semi-private indoor studio used for Pilate’s, core training, and flexibility training. We also have an outdoor grass area that is available for training, with boot camps and classes coming soon.
South Park Fitness is located at 2211 30th Street in Fire Station No. 9, the oldest Fire Station in San Diego built in 1912. It has recently been restored and converted into the most unique gym in San Diego. Please feel free to stop in and see the gym for yourself!

Memberships
Our current membership rate is $50 per month with a one-time enrollment fee of $50. There are no contracts.
Personal Training
South Park Fitness has recently been voted as one of the Top 2 Personal Training Centers in San Diego. Our training rates range from $60 to $75 per one-hour session.
New Member Introductory Training
I strongly recommend that each new member schedule a meeting with one of our certified personal trainers to discuss the introductory training programs we have available to make your transition here more comfortable and productive.
1. Orientation Program – One training session
With our Orientation Program, a certified trainer will take you on a tour through the entire gym. He will inform you of each piece of equipment that is available to you, what each piece is used for and the correct form when using it. During this orientation session you will have the opportunity to discuss your personal goals with your trainer and he will advise you on a program that will help you to reach your goals quickly and safely. Rates range from $60 - $75.
2. Jump Start Program – Three training sessions
Your Jump Start Program begins with a consultation and fitness assessment by a certified personal trainer. Through a series of questions, simple exercises and drills, your trainer will determine your fitness level. With this information he will take you through three training sessions tailored to your personal goals. At the end of the three sessions you can either continue to work with your trainer or branch out on your own. If you choose to be independent a detailed written program will be provided in the weeks to come. Rates range from $150 - $200.
Kick Boxing, Muay Thai, and Self-Defense
Marco Vitali will instruct our kickboxing and self-defense program. With over 20 years of experience, Marco will give you a new type of workout - one that develops your core and improves your strength, agility, speed, balance, and confidence. Personal sessions with Marco are $60 with semi-private sessions (two or more people) available at a reduced rate. Sessions with Marco can be scheduled at the front desk or you can contact Marco directly by calling 619-857-5171.
Chiropractic & Sports Therapy
Dr. Brian Smith will be available at South Park Fitness by appointment. To set up an appointment or schedule a consultation call 619-450-4142.

Nutrition Counseling
Our nutrition and wellness practice is led by Preston Swirnoff; a PhD in neuroscience with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Sound nutrition goes hand-in-hand with your fitness goals, so whether you want to lose weight, get toned, gain strength, or increase energy and preventive health, Preston is able to customize an optimal plan for you. Pilates Mat Work Sessions and Classes
Colette Harding is a Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Certified Pilates Instructor. She received her MFA in Dance from the UC, Irvine. Colette's Pilates experience includes work with clients of all ability levels from beginner through professional athlete/dancer, and work with clients of all ages and abilities. With high interest in proper form, alignment, and muscle engagement, Colette can help you attain your health goals with effective and focused Pilates work. She has also had experience working with post-rehabilitative clients, and is prepared to work with a client's doctor/therapist to help with the rehabilitative process. At South Park Fitness, Pilates Mat Work sessions are available for Private sessions, Semi-Private Sessions, Three-person Group Sessions, and Larger Group Classes. South Park Fitness is owned and operated by Robert Pouliot, whose friendly and motivating personality will help you to reach your goals. He has a degree in Exercise Science/Business Management from Montana State University, and has been certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. He has successfully operated his own personal training business for the past 20 years and is a published health and fitness author. He is happily married to his wife, Kelly, and is the proud father of his two sons, Jackson and Marley.
